Description Brembo GP4-RS calipers

The new Brembo Monobloc GP4-RS caliper completes the range of Brembo calipers dedicated to the track. It supports the GP4-RR and the GP4-RX, both obtained from full and absolute reference in terms of performance.

So if you have a sports car with 108 mm wheelbase and go to the track with a certain frequency now you have no more excuses for not upgrading. And if you are still not convinced, we provide you with 7 good reasons to support this thesis.

1) Lightness

The GP4-RS is a monobloc caliper made with a very complex casting technique and exclusive prerogative of Brembo. The result is a 10 percent lighter caliper than the renowned Monobloc M4 which has excelled for many years thanks to its characteristics of rigidity, lightness and operating precision.

2) Cooling

The fins around the pistons are derived from the MotoGP systems: these fins have the task of effectively dissipating the heat during braking. Thanks to them, the surface of the pistons exposed to the air is 30 percent higher than a caliper without fins. A not insignificant gain because it is recorded in an area subject to considerable thermal stress and close to the brake fluid.

3) RIGIDNESS

The ribs on the front section of the pistons are also inspired by MotoGP. This process serves to counteract the deformation of the caliper in the presence of significant braking. To benefit from this is the operating precision of the system in the most intense braking.

4) Patented uniqueness

The fins near the pistons are a feature of this caliper protected by a design model. With the GP4-RS you can bring a solution developed for the MotoGP calipers on your bike and for the first time transferred to an upgrade product.

7) Heat-sealing adhesives

The same heat-sealing adhesives used in MotoGP to evaluate the temperature reached by the calipers after each session are contained in the GP4-RS monoblock caliper kit. By applying the adhesive to your GP4-RS caliper, you will be able to measure the degrees reached and verify firsthand the best cooling.
