What is Spindle Bobbin Crash Protection?

Protruding from both sides of the rear wheel of your BWM, EP Rear Spindle Bobbins for the S 1000 XR Sport SE aim to protect the rear wheel, swing arm and sprocket carriers should the unfortunate occur.   The combination of hardwearing nylon and aluminium adds strength hoping to hold the rear of your bike away from costly harm.   Furthermore, the two materials are independent of each other allowing the nylon slider to rotate with impact to reduce wear and stress on the part.
