The new Brembo Racing RCS 19 Corsa Corta brake pump is Brembo's latest invention. This radial brake pump is the evolution of all brake pumps, the latter in addition to benefiting from all the features of the classic RCS, has an innovative and elegant design and a further adjustment to meet all the conditions in which you drive the bike. In fact the RCS19 Short Corsa in addition to being adjustable in different positions and in the wheelbase, this is also adjustable in "readiness". Adjustable in:

R "RACE" for a minimum idle run and the lever will therefore be more ready

S "SPORT" for an empty run in an intermediate position with an excellent lever feeling

N "NORMAL" the empty run will be greater, consequently the braking will be sweeter.

Brembo radial pump with 6 different brake modulation options. The 19RCS CORSA CORTA is characterized by the possibility offered to the pilot to adapt the position of the "bite point" braking point to the desired driving feeling, in addition to the RCS (Ratio Click System), introduced 10 years on the Brembo 19RCS radial pump, which allows the pump wheelbase to be set to " 18 ", or " 20 ".

The careful study of improvement of the pump has allowed Brembo to propose three brake pumps in one and to further improve the performance of the braking system. Moreover, taking advantage of the mix deriving from the variation of the wheelbase from 18 to 20 and the three maps R, S, N, it is possible to have 6 different combinations. The selector, of the idle stroke, allows to make a choice between the three different feeling maps available. With the Normal map, the position of the attachment point is such as to guarantee a more gradual initial phase and is therefore suitable for city driving, or braking in conditions of poor grip. With the Sport map, the position of the attachment point is such as to shorten the initial phase, compared to the N setting. This second map allows a more dynamic response and a sportier driving. Finally, with the Raceil map the eccentric device allows to further shorten the initial phase, bringing it to a minimum value equal to that of the pumps used in MotoGP: in this way the pilot is able to achieve a lightning-fast reaching of the braking attachment point . This third map goes well with a guide with a strong racing appeal, which cuts the cents during braking. The RCS (Ratio Click System) system, on the other hand, shifts the distance between the fulcrum point and the point of application on the pump rod by 2 millimeters: from this derives a different distribution of the braking force, without this being modified in terms of pure power.

The pump body is in forged aluminum alloy, machined with 5-axis CAM technology. For the finish, hard oxidation was chosen, which guarantees the pump body considerable resistance to wear and the smoothness of the components. The float and gaskets are the same as those used in MotoGP, as are the seats on the bleed and feed system, which, inclined by more than 30 °, facilitate pump bleeding. For the design of the 19RCS CORSA CORTA, a study was also carried out, in order to ensure the consistency of style between all the components of the pump, which presents itself today with an aesthetic, dynamic and sporty aesthetic, in line with the languages ??expressed by the motorcycles for which was designed (model or design application filed together with the patent application on the technological solution). The lever unit can be replaced without the RCS (Ratio Click System) being disassembled from the pump and this allows the calibrations performed during assembly in the Racing Brembo workshop to be maintained unaltered.
