What is Spindle Bobbin Crash Protection?

EP Front Spindle Bobbins for the Ducati DesertX are produced to preserve the lower front forks and brake calipers from costly damage.   If an incident were to occur, the strong materials hope to take impact first.   Furthermore, the innovative Evotech Performance design ensures the nylon bobbin heads can rotate above the aluminium to reduce wear on the part and stress on the wheel.
