Many newer sports are equipped with exhaust valve controlled by servo motor. When making performance changes involving the replacement of the exhaust or the installation of an additional control unit, it is necessary the elimination of the exhaust valve.

This can however lead to problems such as reports of errors in the control unit - with the consequent ignition of spies and, sometimes, the entry into operation of electronic security mechanisms that involve the reduction of engine performance.
