Why should I add Evotech Lever Protectors (Road) to my handlebars?

Lever protectors originate from motorcycle racing, designed to prevent accidental application of the brake and clutch systems. However, it is not only on the racetrack that they prove their usefulness as many unwelcome incidents could be avoided if the brake and clutch levers are protected. Machined from a single piece of aluminium, the robust lever guards are powder-coated for additional durability. The motorcycle parts are then added to the handlebars using Evotech’s model-specific design and stainless steel Road-sized weights. These are EP’s larger of the two options available with lever protectors, increasing the weight at the end of the handlebars to soothe unwanted high-frequency vibrations.

Note: When fitting Evotech Brake and Clutch Lever Protector Kit, it is the rider’s responsibility to ensure the motorcycles throttle action (correct free-play, smooth opening and closing of the throttle, etc) is not impaired in any way. Evotech Bar End Weights are designed to be used only with the OE throttle tube and handlebar grip.
