Warum ein EP-Kühler- und Ölkühlerschutzset anbringen?

Motorradkühler und Ölkühler sind so positioniert, dass sie nicht auf die Außenluft und den vorbeiströmenden Luftstrom beschränkt sind. Beide sind erforderlich, um das durch ihre inneren Kerne fließende Motorkühlmittel zu kühlen. Leider sind Kühler auch „anfällig“ für Schäden durch Straßenschmutz. Das Kühler- und Ölkühler-Schutzset MV Agusta Dragster EP wurde entwickelt, um die empfindlichen Kühlrippen und inneren Kanäle zu schützen, indem es verhindert, dass Steine, Splitt usw. die empfindliche Aluminiumkonstruktion des Kühlers und Ölkühlers „kugelstrahlen“ oder, schlimmer noch, durchbohren und diese undicht machen. Die Folge davon ist eine Überhitzung, die wiederum zu Motorschäden führen kann.
