Evotech Triple Clamp is a sporty product, characterised by a high style content. What distinguish this Evotech product from our competitors are the very accurate geometrical shapes and its mechanical processing.This product is machined from special bars of aeronautical-grade aluminium. The material must have specific mechanical characteristics but also good elasticity, that is, a good toughness meaning that the triple clamp cannot easily break but must deform before the break. These components are designed using FEM techniques that allow, through virtual simulations of loads and constraints, to optimise the shapes. Thus, you can get the top features and an optimal strength-to-weight ratio during the designing stage, before the manufacturing.  Often the difference lies in the details and in this case we were able to characterise these items with really new solutions: for example the fixing system of the clamps for both the top and lower steering plate consists of a particular system that contrasts to the fixing screws a threaded roller. In this way the screw always works in an axial way, therefore in an optimal manner and has no bending loads which for the most experienced are very harmful because affects the tightening torque. Thanks to our solution is possible to reduce the tightening torque of the clamps on the fork blades, and therefore having a better pressure distribution and a better forks smoothness. Another feature we designed on some models is a special plug, a sort of appendix, that aims to protect the forks in case of fall, both in the case of traditional forks with knob adjustment and in the most modern forks with electronic control.
